Hello everyone! I'm János, the creator of the driver's towel.
I'm writing this because ever since the product went online, I've received a lot of opinions, questions, and comments, and I'd like to address them clearly, honestly, and without any marketing fluff.
This product was indeed made for drivers.
It wasn't born on a marketing desk, but in the field.
I've been working as a haulier since 2013, and even today, I often sit in the car as a driver.
What I write, I write from experience.
My biggest problem was always that commercially available wipes simply weren't suitable for this purpose.
They tore, curled up, had too strong a scent, or simply weren't usable after a hard day.
That's why I started to deal with this more seriously.
I contacted developers and manufacturers, we made prototypes, and not only I, but several colleagues also tested them under real conditions.
Choosing the material was one of the most important things.
It couldn't be too weak, but not too strong either.
That's why I looked for a solution that was strong yet flexible.
The same goes for the scent and moisture.
I didn't want too strong, disturbing a scent, because we're talking about daily use.
That's why I went in a more natural direction, with ingredients like ginger and lemongrass.
Important: this is not a universal wipe.
This is a product specifically designed for the driver's lifestyle.
Someone who is at home every day and has a shower a few steps away doesn't see this situation.
But we do.
I'm not saying I've reinvented the wheel – but it works for me and according to the feedback from the testers so far.
We also chose the size based on use.
The 20x30 cm size is exactly what I need to cover my face in one go, wipe it, and then use the other side for my neck and beard.
This is a practical solution that can be used in a cabin.
I also want to say that I won't delete critical comments. In fact, I welcome them.
But I ask that anyone who writes a review has also used the product.
This is not a closed matter.
We will continue to develop it.
There will be new scents, and even size variations.
This is a process.
As for the price: I tried to set it so that it would be affordable – but you can't compete with the cheapest category using better materials and natural ingredients. Because we use it every day – it can't be bad for the skin, the creases, the intimate areas.
And a final thought.
A shower costs 4-5-6 euros in many places – and I've seen it all...
A coffee costs 3-4 euros, and you can't always make it in the cabin – we buy that too.
A beer at a petrol station, shop, or restaurant is also several euros – even though it's 0.5-0.7 euros in a shop, sometimes you just sit down, the sun is shining, and you allowed yourself that luxury.
And here you get a pack of 36 pieces that you can use every day.
